We have some friends who are raising chickens. We went a couple of weeks ago to see the little puff ball babies and back again today. I think the girls were pretty impressed at how much they'd grown. Today, the chicks had a combination of down and feathers and were quite a bit larger overall. I was glad that we also got to see the "big" chickens outside. The girls didn't express any fear of the roosters or the hens and would have chased them around the lot for a while. Maybe next time we will get to see an egg in the nest, they'd love that too.
