Giving up TV

Well for Lent, we are not watching TV during the day.  I tell you, I don't really miss it all that much (well, maybe while I'm cooking dinner).  The girls are reading more and playing with their toys together. It's not as if we watched it a lot, but now they know that it's not getting turned on, so they don't even ask for it.  Singing and dancing, reading and playing.  Of course, with the rain today, it will be more of a "test."  Because the weather has been so nice, we have spent lots of time outside not even thinking about our programs.  I know that God will meet the girls (and me) in this time of fasting and I'm very excited about it.  Blessings.
