Ballet

Last week the girls were in a worship ballet called Enter the Gates.  It was a great way for them to worship and also share Jesus' love with some residents at an area nursing home. They had a great time.  We are so blessed to be a part of Gloria Deo School of the Arts. The older dancers are going to be performing a ballet adaptation of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe for free this coming Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. At the Singletary Center For The Arts at the University of Kentucky. Gracie yellow

Last week mollie was pretending to be Gracie gold, Betsy was Gracie silver, I was Gracie bronze.  Andy wanted to know who he might be, Mollie suggested Gracie yellow.  Blessings.

The Olympics

Mollie likes to watch the winter Olympics.  I asked her what she likes to watch the best, her reply, " I like to watch the figure skating because of the sparkly costumes."  Why am I not surprised. Blessings.

oh so thankful

In trying to promote an attitude of gratitude, we have made a thankful tree for the family to add thoughts to every day or so (as I remember and prompt).  The first things that the girls mention, Doc (McStuffins) and Belle.  We don't even watch Disney that often! More work, more prayer, more gratitude. Today's answers, Mommy, Betsy and God.  So much better.  Blessings.

The other day, I was helping Mollie get dressed. She was adamant that I not choose the frog shirt.  I keep looking in the drawer, thinking the only frog things the girl owns are pajamas.  She continues to ask me not to select a frog shirt.  It finally dawns on me that she is talking about a turtle neck, when she says the frog shirts make her sick.  Blessings.
